Essential to our identity as a firm is our enduring commitment to service. We recognize that our success and well-being, both as a firm and as individuals, impart a responsibility to serve others. For us, this responsibility is also a privilege.
Know Greater Community Involvement.
The strength of the communities in which we live and work reflects the integrity and effort of those who champion them. At PKF O’Connor Davies, our employees represent the best of both, supporting our communities through philanthropy, volunteerism, advocacy and service.
At every level of our firm, from partners and professionals to administrators and family members, we are proud participants in a range of non-profit groups and causes throughout New York, New Jersey, Connecticut, Maryland. We regularly sponsor firm-wide fundraising initiatives for major nationwide charitable organizations as well as local and regional holiday drives and donation events including Toys for Tots and the Pajama Program. In 2016, we contributed more than $1 million to non-profit organizations and are well on our way to surpassing this figure for 2017.
Complementing the funds we donate are the time and skill our professionals generously devote to vital projects, ventures and missions through committee and board work at schools, universities, hospitals, member groups, associations and service organizations. Employees of every age wield hard hats and hammers at Habitat for Humanity construction sites throughout the area. Every month, we host Charity Jeans Days to raise needed funding for groups working to improve life for those in need throughout our villages, towns and cities.
Our senior executives serve on a regular and ongoing basis in leadership roles as Trustees and Board Members for professional, civic, cultural, religious and other service groups, including the following, among others:
- American Heart Association
- Arthritis Foundation
- Boys & Girls Club
- Children's Aid and Family Services
