Gary Cassiello

Gary Cassiello services a wide variety of closely held companies for which he provides tax planning and business advisory services. He also focuses on the Firm’s commercial and not-for-profit audit clients as well as performs litigation support services and business valuations for closely held companies. In addition, he has extensive expertise providing forensic accounting services.

Prior to joining the Firm, he was a Partner at JGS, CPA, P.C. and was with the Firm for almost 35 years. Previously, he worked at a “Big Four” firm in the accounting and auditing division for a diverse client base.

He has performed work as a court-appointed expert in both New York Supreme Court and Federal Bankruptcy Court. He has provided testimony in both Courts and in arbitration proceedings. Gary has also provided reports and testimony on business loss from breach of contract, lost profits, reduction in goodwill, unjust enrichment and related issues.

Gary has made presentations to students, accountants, lawyers, law enforcement and others on business valuation, succession planning, forensic accounting and fraud issues, as well as served as a featured speaker at an annual conference of wholesalers. Accounting and advisory for beverage distributors remains one of his specialty service areas.
