Matthew Corona is a Partner at the Firm with over 15 years experience in public accounting. His area of expertise is in providing accounting and auditing services for employee benefit plans.
With more than 100 employee benefit plan clients, Matt is involved with the audits of: defined contribution plans (including 11-k filings with the Securities and Exchange Commission), defined benefit plans, health and welfare plans, and employee stock ownership plans (ESOPs). Among Matt’s clients are the employee benefit plans of: foundations, healthcare institutions, museums and other for-profit and not-for-profit entities.
As an engagement partner, Matt oversees the activities of the audit team, reviews the engagement results and conclusions — including internal controls — determines the contents of the report, and is the liaison with client management.
Matt is a frequent instructor in the Firm’s continuing professional education seminars, as well as a contributor to its Employee Benefits Plan Newsletter.
