Benjamin Strauss has more than 10 years of experience in public accounting having launched his career as a staff accountant at the organization. He specializes in providing comprehensive tax services to not-for-profit organizations with a particular focus on large public charities and their complex compliance needs.
Benjamin has extensive experience preparing and reviewing Forms 990, 990-PF and 990-T for a wide range of exempt organizations. His expertise includes advising on issues related to unrelated business income (UBI), multistate tax filings and navigating the diverse state compliance requirements that affect small, large and national organizations.
In addition to his technical work, Benjamin actively contributes to the organization’s Thought Leadership initiatives, authoring articles and resources that help nonprofit leaders stay informed about regulatory changes, IRS guidance and best practices in tax compliance.
