Dipen Shah has more than 20 years of experience, including more than 18 years with “Big Four” firms. He specializes in providing financial and accounting due diligence services, as well as broader mergers and acquisitions advisory services for private equity and strategic clients.

Dipen has extensive experience across various industries including healthcare and life sciences (HCLS), technology, media and telecommunications (TMT), industrial manufacturing, business services, transportation and logistics, real estate and consumer products.

He has advised on more than 400 buy- and sell-side transactions. Dipen has led several integrated cross-functional teams and applied data and analytics tools to help clients navigate challenges across the deal and investment lifecycle. Dipen has collaborated with global teams on both inbound and outbound transactions in various countries.

His areas of focus include quality of earnings, quality of net assets, business drivers and key performance indicators, technical accounting matters, working capital mechanisms, synergy evaluations, assessment of management’s projections, separation/stand-alone matters, transaction documents, purchase price adjustments and 100-day plans. His notable assignments include platform, add-on, take-private, public-to-public transactions, distressed investments, complex carve-outs, spin-outs, cross-border deals and venture and minority investments.
