Eric Gelb, CPA, is Senior Managing Director in Financial Services, specializing in business development. His clients include private equity, hedge funds, investment advisors and Family Offices. Eric serves clients as an outsource CFO, advisor to family and privately held businesses and advises on financial transactions, restructurings and workouts.
A member of the Transaction Advisory Services Practice, Eric collaborates on Private Equity Due Diligence, Mergers & Acquisitions, Debt Capital and Opportunity Zone Funds. In addition, he designs and assists clients with transactions.
Eric is a leader in the field of outsourced corporate accounting, administration, equipment leasing, structured finance, asset-based lending, and securitization. He has over 30 years of broad and extensive experience in the financial services industry. His clients include investment advisors, Family Offices, private equity, venture, hedge, real estate, opportunity zone, cannabis, infrastructure and cryptocurrency funds, merchant banks, real estate developers and eCommerce companies.
He was an auditor with PricewaterhouseCoopers where he completed his CPA. He was National Sales Manager of Citigroup’s Citicapital Bankers Leasing and previously a Vice President in their Asset Finance Group. Eric’s corporate finance and investment banking experience includes: Citigroup, JP Morgan, and Inner Circle Sports that was a unit of Fortress Investment Group. While at JP Morgan, Eric created a multi-seller asset backed conduit, Relationship Funding Corp. where he was responsible for originating $1.9 billion of assets in 15 months.
