Francois Assad

Francois Assad has over 15 years of experience. As an Adjunct Professor of Accounting at Touro College and University System, Francois has taught financial statement analysis, government and not-for-profit accounting, auditing and contemporary issues in international accounting.

As an auditor, Francois has spent the better part of the last two decades working on audits of various types of nonprofit organizations, including schools, early education centers, internal social service organization and audits in accordance with Uniform Guidance Single Audit and Generally Accepted Government Auditing Standards. Francois has demonstrated expertise in planning, directing and reporting on single audits in accordance with the latest requirements of the Uniform Guidance.

Francois provides detailed reports about audit findings and communicates business-critical information to management to inform their decision making. He leads high-energy teams to provide efficiency and deliver an overall positive, and non-intrusive audit experience.
