Joan McCarthy has more than seven years of public accounting experience. She specializes in auditing and tax consulting for private foundations and other not-for-profit organizations.
In her role, Joan communicates with her client’s management team, considers relevant accounting and auditing issues, carefully monitors the progress of each engagement and identifies meaningful recommendations to improve governance and operations. She is responsible for the preparation and review of federal and state tax returns, the execution of the audit approach and supervision of staff to ensure the timeliness and accuracy of the financial reports.
Joan is a Certified Public Accounting candidate, currently working toward obtaining her CPA license.
