Michele Yen has more than 35 years of accounting and auditing experience. Her experience includes two years with the Nassau County Comptroller’s Office and eight years as its auditor. She also served for five years as the assistant controller for the Epilepsy Foundation of Long Island.
Michele provides financial statement preparation services and client assistance to various municipalities and not-for-profit organizations including closing out capital projects, managing grants and reviewing internal control systems.
Michele contributes her time to various associations, many as a committee or board member. She has also presented for the New York Government Finance Officers’ Association and the New York State Society of Certified Public Accountants’ Government Accounting and Auditing Committee.
