Yossi Messafi has over 25 years of experience in public accounting. He serves the Firm’s Assurance practice and is also a member of the Firm’s Health Care and Not-for-Profit industry practice groups. His depth of experience encompasses a broad range of health care and not-for-profit entities including hospitals, skilled nursing facilities, home health care providers, social service organizations and low-income housing entities.

Yossi performs auditing and accounting services for clients and his professional expertise includes audits under Generally Accepted Government Auditing Standards (GAGAS) and Federal Single Audit under the Uniform Guidance, U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development and certification of cost reports. He plans, directs and oversees all aspects of the engagement.

Prior to joining the Firm, Yossi served as an engagement quality reviewer at a national accounting firm.

He also serves as a continuing professional education instructor for in-house training sessions and as a mentor to staff.
