Mark Goldschmitt Joins PKF O’Connor Davies as Partner in Commercial Tax Practice

PKF O’Connor Davies, one of the nation’s largest accounting, tax and advisory practices, today announced that Mark Goldschmitt, CPA, has joined the organization as Partner in its Commercial Tax practice. He will be based in the organization’s Hauppauge office.

Goldschmitt brings nearly three decades of public accounting experience, with deep expertise in tax planning, compliance and strategic business advisory services for privately held businesses, high-net-worth individuals, partnerships and corporations. Throughout his career, he has worked with clients across a range of industries, including legal, architecture, staffing, recruiting and digital media.

Goldschmitt’s appointment reflects PKF O’Connor Davies’ ongoing commitment to expanding its commercial tax capabilities and delivering comprehensive, strategic tax advisory services to its growing client base across the New York metropolitan area.

Before joining PKF O’Connor Davies, Goldschmitt served as Partner at a regional accounting firm, where he advised privately held businesses and individual clients on tax planning, business strategy, financial management and compliance. Prior to that role, he served as Director of Private Client Services at a global accounting firm, where he managed complex tax and advisory engagements for privately held businesses, family-owned companies and high-net-worth individuals. Earlier in his career, he held a management role at a regional accounting firm, where he oversaw tax and accounting engagements for business and individual clients.

Goldschmitt earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from New York Institute of Technology. He is a Certified Public Accountant licensed in the State of New York and a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the New York State Society of Certified Public Accountants.
