PKF O’Connor Davies, LLP, one of the nation’s largest accounting, tax, and advisory firms, announced today the launch of a new investment banking practice area, PKF Investment Banking. The new offering focuses on key services around sell-side and acquisition advisory as well as exit readiness and transaction planning. The investment banking practice is part of a strategic growth initiative at the firm centered on expanding key services to deepen and grow client relationships.

“We’re excited to offer our investment banking services for new and current clients,” said Kevin J. Keane, Managing Partner at PKF O’Connor Davies. “We’ve assisted with clients’ investment banking needs for years, but it’s typically involved referring them to a trusted external partner. The Firm recently appointed Robert Murphy to serve as Senior Managing Director and lead the investment banking practice. In his 25 years of investment banking experience, Murphy has worked on more than 300 M&A mandates involving private and public companies, private equity firms, and family offices and has completed many complex cross-border transactions. Jonathan Moore, Partner-in-Charge of PKF O’Connor Davies’ Transaction Advisory practice, will also play a key leadership role in the investment banking practice. The team will be based out of Woodcliff Lake, NJ, and Palm Beach Gardens, FL.

“I’ve collaborated with the PKF O’Connor Davies team frequently throughout my career, and I’ve always been impressed by their dedication to their clients and their commitment to achieving the best results,” said Murphy. “I’m excited to join the team and help build a first-class investment banking practice.”

The Firm’s investment banking practice will offer the same high-caliber personal attention that defines the Firm’s approach to client service. Its systematic yet flexible approach is designed to meet precise business objectives utilizing the Firm’s extensive reach, which includes the PKF global network. Investment banking clients will benefit from the Firm’s comprehensive team of experts across accounting, tax, valuation, due diligence, and management advisory services.
