PKF O’Connor Davies Opens New Office in Newburgh, NY

New state-of-the-art location features enhanced resources and spacious meeting areas

PKF O’Connor Davies, LLP, one of the nation’s largest accounting, tax and advisory firms, announced today that it is opening an additional location in Newburgh, NY. Located at 11 Balmville Road, the new office is part of a larger expansion program in the area that will offer enhanced resources and technology for employees as well as larger collaboration and client meeting spaces.

“Moving to the Balmville Road office in Newburgh is a key step in our larger growth strategy for the Hudson Valley and gives our team members the space and resources they need to continue to serve our clients at the highest level,” said David Marks, Partner at PKF O’Connor Davies. “This is the right move for the Firm at the right time. It’s a beautiful building with a lot of history that’s been converted into a top-tier office space.”

Twenty-one members of the Firm’s medical practice will relocate to the Balmville Road location from the Firm’s current Fostertown Road site in Newburgh. The Firm’s Newburgh location on Route 17K will be closed, and the eight employees currently working there will begin working at Fostertown Road. David Marks, Partner, will oversee the move to Balmville Road and Wayne Martin, Partner, will manage the move from Route 17K to Fostertown Road.

Together, the two Newburgh locations are comprised of 16,000 square feet of office space. The Balmville Road location features spacious meeting rooms and additional resources, as well as a “grand room” that will function as a future training and event space for the Firm. It is the former site of the Johnes Home for Senior Living, which was converted to multiple high-tech office spaces this year. The renovations of the building, constructed in 1934, include several advanced technology upgrades combined with restorations of original elements and architectural details.

PKF O’Connor Davies has 13 offices in five states and continues to expand through organic growth and acquisitions on the East Coast. It has supported this growth with a strategic combination of promoting from within coupled with tactical external hires.
