PKF O’Connor Davies Partner Suma Chander Appointed to G20/W20 Task Force on Digital Gender Equity

PKF O’Connor Davies, one of the nation’s largest accounting, tax and advisory practices, announced that Suma Chander, a Partner at the firm, has been named to the W20 Summit Task Force. The W20 is the official G20 engagement group focused on gender equity.

Chander, who participated in the recent summit on the Digital Gender Divide in India, will contribute to a task force consisting of pioneers in the field from various UN agencies and other advocacy groups, knowledge partners and industry experts.

The group’s role is to provide policy recommendations on how to bridge the digital gender divide and submitting them to G20 Leadership.

With over 25 years of experience driving technology strategy for organizations of all sizes, Chander leads PKF O’Connor Davies’ Digital Transformation and Advisory Services (DTAS) practice.

“Throughout my professional career, I’ve observed firsthand how the world of technology, specificality digital transformation, can highlight the unfortunate gender equality gap,” said Chander, who has dedicated time over her career to working with various social enterprises and philanthropic organizations that promote skill training and employment amongst disadvantaged populations. “I’m very fortunate for the opportunity to represent PKF O’Connor Davies on a global stage, working alongside some of the world’s greatest minds to contribute to this critical task force to help provide strategic recommendations.”
