Adam M. Formus

Adam M. Formus has more than 25 years of public accounting experience. He provides audit and advisory services to commercial and not-for-profit organizations, specializing in service companies and regulated utility entities, including electric, gas, water and wastewater utilities.

He brings extensive experience navigating the complex financial, operational and regulatory requirements of the utility industry, including Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC) and state Public Utility Commission (PUC) reporting requirements, rate-regulated accounting, regulatory assets and liabilities and utility-specific compliance considerations.

Adam also has significant experience serving not-for-profit organizations, assisting clients with financial reporting, compliance and Single Audit requirements under Uniform Guidance. He works closely with management and governing boards to support transparency, accountability and regulatory compliance.

Adam is fluent in Polish and serves as the Treasurer and a member of the Board of Directors of the Polish American Foundation of Connecticut, a 501(c)(3) charitable organization.
