Dr. Cynthia Adams Harrison is a Managing Director in the Center for Private Business Owners. For more than 30 years, she has consulted with privately held and family business enterprises in an array of areas.

Her client’s range in revenues from $5 million to more than $1 billion, with many operating globally. Cindy specializes in blending her knowledge and experience in performance metrics and techniques garnered from her work with professional athletes and applies these powerful performance methods to business.

She is a national and international motivational speaker. Her numerous speaking engagements include “The Special Challenge of a Family Business in Crisis”, “Team Building Concepts in the Workplace”, “Team Building and Mental Training Skills for Enhanced Performance,” “Women’s Ways: Performance Tips for Success.” She has also co-presented workshops on topics such as estate planning and effective corporate governance in family business, including a presentation in Dallas at the National Association of Corporate Directors (NACD) “Board Symposium on Successful Family Businesses.”

As a recognized author, Cindy’s published work has been highlighted in Family Business Magazine and Teamwork Perspectives and Challenges, ICFAI University Press, India. She coauthored, “Women in Family Business: What Keeps You Up at Night?” with Patricia M. Annino J.D., and Thomas D. Davidow Ed.D.
