Daniel Smolan has more than 10 years of public accounting experience, specializing in audits of charter schools and other educational organizations. He also works extensively with youth development and community service organizations, as well as not-for-profit entities focused on advancing innovation in education and technology.
Daniel oversees engagements from planning through the issuance of financial statements, managing risk assessment, fieldwork and client communications. He also has significant experience with Single Audits and lease accounting.
In addition to his client work, Daniel mentors and guides emerging professionals within the organization, contributing to staff development and fostering a collaborative learning environment. He is also a contributor to the organization’s Thought Leadership articles.
