Elizabeth Gousse Ballotte has nearly 20 years of operational and organizational consulting and management experience. Liz specializes in developing and performing grant compliance reviews, new business initiatives, internal control reviews and M&A implementations. She has experience in federal grant compliance, benefits analysis, financial analysis and research.

Liz has worked on federal grants/programs including ARPA, FEMA and disaster recovery efforts related to hurricanes Sandy, Irene and Lee. Liz advises municipalities across New York and Connecticut on a range of ARPA-related compliance issues. She also has assisted with the Social Innovation Fund and conducted more than 200 site visits and 300 desk reviews throughout the country. In addition, Liz has served as a whistleblower administrator for higher education clients. Her engagements have required her to perform internal control reviews, operational assessments, board of director workshops and grant compliance monitoring on a national scale.

She is an active member of the consulting industry, with a focus on private foundation compliance audits and management consulting. She assists clients in developing compliance programs that meet the demands of federal, state and local regulations and help prevent theft and other forms of corruption.

Liz has published articles in The NonProfit Times and the NonProfit PRO. She has also held leadership roles in executive forums, workshops and symposiums.
