Jason Velardi has nearly 15 years of experience in public accounting and tax. Since joining PKF O’Connor Davies in 2011, he has advised private foundations and not-for-profit organizations, guiding them through complex attestation, tax compliance and strategic planning matters. Jason translates intricate regulations into clear, actionable solutions that safeguard compliance today and position clients for future growth.
Jason leads the preparation and review of complex federal and state tax filings for private foundations and regularly conducts in-depth tax research to support intricate compliance and reporting requirements, including those involving international standards. His forward-thinking approach helps ensure clients are not only compliant today but also positioned for long-term success.
Jason is a frequent contributor to the organization’s Private Foundation Bulletin, where he shares timely insights on tax and regulatory developments affecting the philanthropic sector. He also leads continuing professional education (CPE) sessions for the organization’s staff, focusing on emerging issues and best practices in private foundation tax compliance.
