Jennifer L. Bertino has more than 25 years of experience in accounting and auditing and specializes in working with public sector entities. Her background includes audits of municipal governments, school districts, special schools, port authorities, fire districts and federal and state financial assistance programs.
Jennifer has performed audit and consulting services for a range of governmental entities, including organizations subject to the requirements of the Uniform Guidance. Her work includes engagements with large municipal governments and regional authorities operating within complex regulatory environments.
She previously served as Chair of a Governmental Services Department, where she provided technical leadership and supported quality control initiatives, including the implementation of new Governmental Accounting Standards Board (GASB) pronouncements and Generally Accepted Government Auditing Standards (GAGAS). Jennifer has also assisted in the development and instruction of continuing professional education programs related to governmental and school district accounting and auditing.
