Keith Solomon leads the Health Care Practice at PKF O’Connor Davies and has more than 35 years of experience in public accounting and the health care industry. He collaborates with partners across the organization’s nine multidisciplinary practices and four service lines to provide clients with coordinated support. He has expertise in U.S. GAAP health care accounting and auditing and advises management and boards on complex financial reporting, audit, reimbursement and regulatory matters.
His clients include health systems, hospitals, managed care organizations, long-term care providers, home health care agencies, diagnostic and treatment centers, federally qualified health centers and specialty physician practices.
His experience includes U.S. GAAP financial statement audits, Uniform Guidance audits, Medicare and Medicaid cost reports, New York Wage Parity LS301 reporting and related reimbursement and compliance matters. He is also a technical resource on AICPA auditing standards and emerging accounting and reporting issues related to health care providers.
Keith frequently presents on accounting and auditing developments affecting health care providers, as well as the practical application of artificial intelligence in finance and accounting. He is a firm leader in the use of artificial intelligence, data analytics and computer-assisted audit technologies, working with clients to improve processes, strengthen controls and support financial decision-making and administrative efficiency.
Before joining PKF O’Connor Davies, Keith spent much of his career with Big Four firms, serving health care organizations throughout New York, New Jersey and Pennsylvania. He also brings financial leadership experience, having served as Director of Finance for two skilled nursing facilities, a home health care agency, an adult day care program and housing organizations and later as the Manager of Budgeting for one of New York’s largest managed care organizations.
