Michael J. Suarez

Michael Suarez has more than 20 years of experience in public accounting, providing audit, accounting and assurance services to a variety of industry organizations and employee benefit plans. As a member of the organization’s Employee Benefit Plan practice, he has experience performing audits of defined contribution, defined benefit and health and welfare plans. Michael is also a member of the Firm’s Quality Management Group.

His background includes auditing financial statements in accordance with professional standards and GAAP, evaluating internal controls and assisting clients with financial reporting requirements. Michael has also worked with clients on external audit engagements and accounting matters related to regulatory and reporting compliance.

In addition, Michael has experience with SEC filing requirements and financial reporting considerations for a range of entities. His experience in employee benefit plan auditing and assurance services is complemented by a strong understanding of regulatory compliance and internal control considerations.
