PKF O’Connor Davies’ Samantha Paris Named ‘Leader in Finance’ by NJBIZ

Award-winning Partner honored for contributions to Firm, industry and local community

PKF O’Connor Davies, LLP, one of the nation’s largest accounting, tax and advisory firms, is proud to announce that Samantha Paris has been named an honoree of the 2022 NJBIZ Leaders in Finance awards. Paris, a Partner specializing in small business accounting and taxation, has been recognized by New Jersey’s leading business journal for her professional achievements, innovative ideas and contributions to the success of the Firm and her local community. She joins a prestigious cohort of executives from across New Jersey who have been recognized as leading figures in the state’s financial field.

“Samantha is a standout leader revered by colleagues and community members alike, so it is only fitting that she be recognized by NJBIZ for her impressive and impactful career,” said Kevin J. Keane, Executive Chairman at PKF O’Connor Davies. “The ease with which she develops a meaningful rapport with clients and provides hands-on support does not go unnoticed. On behalf of the Firm, I congratulate her for this well-earned achievement.”

Paris – previously named a Top 40 Under Forty awardee by NJBIZ – works one-on-one with her small business clients on various matters of accounting and taxation. Her responsibilities also include preparing financial statements through review and compilation engagements, as well as conducting audits of private companies. Beyond her role with the Firm, Paris is the President of the Kearny Board of Education and a local Girl Scout leader.

“I’ve always believed that deeper relationships are the key to truly understanding clients’ goals and business trajectory,” Paris said. “I pride myself on acting as a sounding board and sharing my perspective with the businesses I’m lucky enough to work with on a daily basis. To be recognized by NJBIZ as a Leader in Finance is an honor.”

Active in the regional and national accountancy communities, Paris is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) and the New Jersey Society of Certified Public Accountants (NJCPA). She holds a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Rutgers University. She is a member of the Firm’s Woodcliff Lake, NJ, office.

Following an open nomination period, Leaders in Finance honorees were selected by a panel comprised of independent judges with experience in the financial sector. A ceremony recognizing all awardees will be held on April 27 at the Doubletree by Hilton Somerset Hotel and Conference Center.
