Katherine Patnaude has more than 15 years of experience in governmental auditing and accounting. She provides audit, review, agreed-upon procedures and consulting services to a wide variety of municipal entities, including cities, towns, boroughs, districts and housing authorities.
She advises governmental officials on accounting and compliance matters, helping them interpret and address changes from pronouncements issued by the Governmental Accounting Standards Board.
Katherine contributes to the organization’s Thought Leadership series, writing on topics including grant management and governmental auditing standards. In addition, her articles have also been published by the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants.
Most recently, Katherine was named to Forbes’ 2025 “America’s Top 200 CPAs” list.
