Kathleen A. Mills has more than 13 years of experience in public accounting. Kathleen specializes in providing accounting and auditing services in a range of industries including real estate, hospitality, employee benefit plans, not-for-profit and other commercial clients consisting of both privately held and publicly traded companies. Throughout Kathleen’s career, she has had the opportunity to gain valuable experience working on engagements under various financial reporting frameworks including U.S. generally accepted accounting principles (US GAAP), international financial reporting standards (IFRS) and the income tax basis of accounting.

Kathleen participates as an instructor in the Firm’s in-house continuing professional education program and is involved in the Firm’s recruiting and career advisor programs. She is also an adjunct professor in the accounting and business law department of St. Francis College where she currently teaches intermediate accounting courses.

In 2021, Kathleen was recognized by the New York State Society of Certified Public Accountants as an Emerging Leader in its annual “40 Under 40” awards.
