Lazaro Hernandez

Lazaro “Laz” Hernandez has more than 15 years of experience in diversified public and private accounting. He provides complex audit and accounting services to clients in a variety of industries, including manufacturing and wholesale distribution, technology, retail, construction, life sciences, cannabis and not-for-profit organizations.

With a background in corporate accounting and audit management, Laz has significant expertise in financial reporting under U.S. GAAP and IFRS, external audits, internal control evaluation, SEC reporting support, business combinations, strategic planning and business process improvement. He has advised clients through complex accounting matters, capital markets transactions and evolving regulatory requirements.

Laz leads audit engagements for both public and private companies. He is actively involved in technical accounting discussions, quality initiatives and professional development within the organization, helping clients navigate complex financial reporting and audit matters.

In addition to his U.S. CPA license, Laz is a Chartered Professional Accountant in Ontario, Canada and is licensed to practice public accounting in the province.
