PKF O’Connor Davies’ Valerie Imondi Receives 2023 Hudson Valley Top Forty Under 40 Mover and Shaker Award

Imondi also named President-Elect of New York State Society of Certified Public Accountants’ Mid-Hudson Chapter

PKF O’Connor Davies, one of the nation’s largest accounting, tax and advisory practices, is proud to announce that Valerie Imondi, Business Solutions Senior Manager, has been honored with a Hudson Valley Top Forty Under 40 Mover and Shaker Award by the Dutchess County Regional Chamber of Commerce. Imondi has also been elected the next President of the Mid-Hudson Chapter of the New York State Society of Certified Public Accountants (NYSSCPA).

“Valerie is an immense asset to our organization as well as the Greater Hudson Valley community, and her willingness to consistently go above and beyond both professionally and personally has not gone unnoticed,” said Michelle S. O’Reilly, Partner at PKF O’Connor Davies. “I applaud Valerie for this well-deserved recognition as a ‘Mover and Shaker,’ and I trust that our local NYSSCPA chapter will benefit greatly from her enhanced leadership role.”

The Hudson Valley Top Forty Under 40 Mover and Shaker Awards are presented annually to 40 professionals under the age of 40 who have demonstrated a strong commitment to the Hudson Valley region. Nominees’ professional and community achievements are judged by a selection committee comprised of former honorees, and their individual scores are combined to determine the Top 40 honorees. This year’s award ceremony celebrating the honorees and their accomplishments will be held on April 27 at Changepoint Church in Poughkeepsie.

The Mid-Hudson Chapter of the NYSSCPA is the professional association’s regional representation in the Greater Hudson Valley. Chartered on April 1, 1955, the Chapter encompasses New York’s Dutchess, Orange, Putnam, Sullivan and Ulster counties.

“I’ve prioritized community involvement throughout my career, and I’m honored to be recognized by my colleagues for my ongoing work in the Hudson Valley,” Imondi said. “At the same time, the NYSSCPA has been invaluable to my professional development, and my upcoming service as President of the association’s Mid-Hudson Chapter will allow me to give back and shape an organization that has meant so much to my career.”
