Lior Roth has nearly five years of experience in public accounting. He serves in the Firm’s State & Local Tax practice. He is experienced in representing clients in various industry sectors including manufacturing, service, retail, financial services, engineering and law.

Lior consults on direct and indirect taxation, including corporate income and franchise taxes, entity level filings, personal income tax/residency, pass-through entity taxes (PTET), sales & use taxes, commercial rent tax, employment taxes and teleworking tax issues. His assignments also include preparing nexus studies, voluntary disclosures, merger apportionment reviews and due diligence. In addition, Lior prepared over 30 R&D credit studies (Federal and State) and has experience with Historic Rehabilitation and Brownfield tax credits.

Beyond his advisory role, Lior is experienced in handling tax controversy matters where he assists and represents clients on sales tax, income tax and payroll audits. Lior has negotiated settlements and penalty abatements and held multiple conferences with auditors.

Lior serves the Firm through preparing tax articles for its Thought Leadership series. He is a speaker at the Firm’s annual tax update and also a member of the Artificial Intelligence Committee.
